Ian & Kayleigh – Enagagement session

Having shot Ian & Kayleigh’s wedding just before Christmas I have to started to blog a selection of images from the special day and had realised that i’d not shared some of the images from Ian & Kayleigh’s engagement session we had back in October. So better late than never!

The couple had told me that an engagement session would be perfect for them as they didn’t have alot of photos together so loved the idea of a relaxed pre wedding photo shoot and it also gave them both the chance to see how I work and become comfortable in front of the camera.

What I particularly like about this shoot was that when the couple started they were both slightly uncomfortable, but by the end were the complete opposite willing to try anything even throwing dry autmun leaves at each other!

Stuart & Nicole’s Pre Wedding Session

Having booked me to photograph their wedding day this coming August I had yet to meet Stuart and Nicole so to get to know each other and discuss the wedding in more details we decided to do a pre wedding shoot at the same time.

We met up in Weelsby woods and straight away both Stuart and Nicole were super comfortable infront of the camera. With the threat of heavy rain looming we seized the time we had together and got some great images which you can see some of below.

Mr and Mrs Roberts – Healing Manor Hotel

Dan & Samantha’s wedding took place on April 1st at Healing Manor Hotel which is a beautiful venue tucked away in the small village of Healing just outside of Grimsby.

From the get go bride Samantha was calm & relaxed and this is how the rest of the day flowed. Family and friends coming together to celebrate a new marriage and having a great time.

Take a moment to have a look at some of the images from throughout the day.

Congratulations to you Dan & Samantha!

Lifestyle portraits with Sam and Erin

A mothers treasure is her daughters photo.

I was invited to photograph Sam and her 3 year old daughter Erin. Sam wanted me to capture some beautiful images of Erin in a lifestyle type photography shoot, although I did manage to get some great shots of Erin on her own I also caught the unbreakable bond between mother and daughter which really shines through in this set of images from the day.

Although we’re mid way through summer the weather the entire week prior to the shoot was more like something from an autumn week in October. I was worried that Sam’s hopes of a summer set of photographs may not turn out as summery as she’d hoped but luckily the weather took a turn and ended up been nicer than even i’d anticipated. Between the great weather and Erins cuteness we managed to get some great photographs.

Take a look below for a selection of images from the shoot.
